Celebration and Party invites class

Just wanted to show you the cards Carol has made for Mondays class" Celebrations and Party Invites" . She has come up with 3 great ideas to cover different occasions. If you have a free morning on Monday why not phone the shop and reserve a place today.

If you are booked on my crop next Saturday the photo sizes are 1 6x4 landscape and for the second layout using up all the leftovers I have used a 6x4 portrait and some smaller ones around 3x2. There is plenty of room to play with and a little chipboard frame that could take a photo if you wished.Colours are orange, pink, green and brown.

Have a great weekend, I am just off to meet up with John and Rene to travel to the NEC for the UK equivalent of CHA trade show see what lovely goodies we will be bringing into the shop this year. Meeting up with the girls from the shop tomorrow...going to be a fab weekend!

Marie Curie day raised £149

On Saturday 11th - we helped raise a wonderful £149 for the Marie Curie Charity day. Thank you to all who came out on a bitterly cold day and made a card and for your donations. The cakes were truly delicious - not that John, Michelle or Sally tried any of course!
A big thank you to the crew who came and organised it in such a marvellous way.
The Raffle was won by Kay C.

At the end of this month it will be 7 years since we opened our shop, originaly in a garden centre. Its hard to believe it has been 7 years!
A customer came into the shop and remarked on it yesterday with some lovely comments and memories.
We are currently planning something special to mark the occaision - so watch this space....

Make a card for Marie Curie Cancer Care..and enjoy cake and coffee at the same time

At In2crafting on Saturday 11th February we are having one of our "Make, Take and Eat Cake" days to support and raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Charity.
All you need to do is come along and all the cardmaking materials will be laid out in our upstairs workshop for you to create one or more cards. Karen and Gill will be on hand to assist and guide you if needed. Once you have made your card you can take it away or donate it so that it can be sold to raise more funds for Marie Curie. While this is going on you can eat freshly baked cakes and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Even if you don't want to make a card you can still enjoy a drink and cake to warm you up while out shopping! A raffle will be offered and the prize is a free workshop of your choice from our current list.
Come along and enjoy, this is the 3rd time we have hosted this and the day proves more and more popular each time.
All we ask is for a minimum donation of £2 to go towards the charity.
Shake off the cold and snow and pop in! Double privilege points on Saturday in the shop as well.

Due to the forecast of ice for tonight and potential road problems for Monday morning we have decided to postpone the class in the morning until the following Monday 13th. Some of the people would be coming from various parts of the county and if you do not need to travel it's best not to.
The shop will be open as usual on Monday for those who want to do some shopping!
