Come and join us for a great time with like minded others to create a card or other project in order to raise money for this charity. By now we hope that you realise that we do these days fairly often. You can also have refreshments and take part in a raffle. The crafty ladies will be around to give you some ideas and help. Open to all. £2 minimum donation to Marie Curie is all we ask. Everyone who joins in will get 15% off of their shopping with us on the day as our way of saying thank you for supporting.

"Shop Small" have a campaign this Saturday 7th December.

It is called "Small Business Saturday" and is sponsored by American Express. A national day which celebrates the role that small businesses, such as our own, play in our community.

Please support us and your other local independent shops and high street, as one slogan says "use us or lose us!"

 

If you have an American Express card and use it in our shop and any other independent shops on the day to purchase goods to the value of £10 or more - Amex will credit your account with £5 per transaction ! You can shop in as many shops as you like that are participating and get £5 each time. You have to register your card first though, more details below.

 

To promote this day, we have a number of craft items, storage cases, tote bags and a selection of Airfix and Revell plastic model kits at an amazing 1/2 price to sell on the day on a first come first served basis. Ideal for Christmas presents.  Check them out on Saturday from the display table - you don't need an Amex card to take advantage of this offer!.

Make a card for Marie Curie Cancer Care Saturday 9th November

Saturday 9th Nov. 10 - 4.
Come along and make a card for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The ladies will be on hand to assist and guide you while you enjoy making, having refreshments and fun.
Minimum £2 donation per card please, so that we make as much money as possible.
Raffle prizes plus all who participate will get 15% off of their shopping on the day!

2 Free craft Demonstrations on Saturday 2nd Nov

This coming Saturday, 2nd Nov, we have a special Double Event demonstration day with Creative Expressions. Not one but two demonstrators, Tanya & Kim, will be with us using Gilding flakes and wax, polished silk glitters with stamping effects, Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Pearls, Masking effects, die cuts and more.
Lots of tips and techniques and its all free!
 Come along between 10 and 4 to see what's happening
Also, double privilege points for cardholders on the day and don't forget there is free car parking on Saturday in the car park near us.
We also have a scrapbook class in the morning upstairs with Carol.

Free Make & Take day Sat 12 Oct

 

At In2crafting this Saturday, 12th Oct, we have a free "Make and Take" day.

Réne and the girls will be showing you how to make a lovely Christmas wreath decoration using an XCut die, cardstock, mini bells and ribbon - ideal to make a hanging decoration or just to make a card.

Alternatively, using Craftwork Cards Christmas Paper Bows - you can make a simple but effective Greeting card.

Lots of ideas and variations.

Come and make any one for free but if you want to make more, there is a nominal charge of £2 per item to cover material costs and the use of tools etc. This will take place downstairs at the back of the shop. Réne will also be using the latest die cutting and embossing machine - the "Xpress" to do the cuttingout - so if you are interested in what it can do -come and try it out. Its A4 size and has depth adjustment control.

 Also for shoppers on Saturday we have double privilege points for cardholders - so you can get your next £10 gift voucher even quicker!  (If you have not got one yet - you can apply at the till).

3rd Anniversary of shop move

Amazingly it has been 3 years since we moved into our shop from the garden centre, how time flies!    3 years at this shop and 5 1/2 at the previous shop.

 So to celebrate we have some special offers over the next week.

 Only on Saturday 17th we will be giving triple points on all purchases for our Privilege cardholders.

 That's 3 points for every £1 spent, so a £50 shop will give you a £10 gift voucher straight away.
 Any other amount spent will mean that you get your next voucher much earlier than you expected.
You only need 150 points for a £10 voucher.
The points apply for in shop and also online purchases.
Next week we will have double points for privilege cardholders plus extra offers each day - so watch out for further details.

(Purchases of gift vouchers, workshops, magazines and die cutting machines are excluded from the offer.)

Woodware demonstration day - Sat 8th June

We are looking forward to having a visit on Saturday by Jane Gill who will be demonstrating on behalf of major craft supplier - Woodware. Jane will be using a variety of stamp designs (including her own) and other products to heat emboss, d...istress, lots of different styles of cards and will be showing you how to use resist techniques with inks etc. Jane is always very popular and has lots of ideas and crafting tips to share. Come anytime on Saturday 8th between 10 & 4. We also have double points for privilege cardholders on all shopping on the day. (except classes, gift vouchers, mags and die cut machines).
