Saturdays scrapbook class

To anyone coming to the class this saturday, the photo size is 1 6x4 portrait black and white. The paper has a more creamy background than I thought, so I have used cream as well as white in the layout. If you prefer sepia photos, that would work as well.  Photo theme can be whatever you like but there are flowers on the page so maybe not a male on his own, but anything else would go. Title is completely upto you and the class is technique based this month so an easy layout to give you time to play making the flowers.

Promarker Demo and new stock arrived

This coming Saturday, 16th June, we are hosting a free demonstration from Letraset - the makers of Aqua, Flex and Promarker pens. Also featuring stamps from Little Claires and Memento ink pads.

 Between 10 am and 4pm we have Jacqui Dennis here to show you how you can effectively use these pens to colour, blend and enhance your crafting projects.

As part of the pen demo, Jacqui will be stamping using the Little Claires stamps and using Memento Ink pads.

Well crafted Olympic Torch building

The Olympic torch has been a big homework project for a number of Wickford schools. We have had many children in this last week with their parents / grandparents to source various materials to make a torch. Here are two "torchbearers"- Kati...e and Jasmin who came back in to show off their work to their mum, Michelle.
Well done girls...and to nanny too!
It would be interesting to see what some of the others have made with their craft materials.

On Saturday the Jane Gill workshop made some exquisite paper flowers using paper punches, moulding tools, paper and a few inks.
The ladies loved the all day class and thank you Jane for being our guest tutor again.
