CRICUT DEMO DAY

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TO SEE ME AT THE DEMO YESTERDAY!!

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and a lot of new faces too. After a nerve wracking week getting ready I really enjoyed myself. I absolutely love my cricut machine and get a big thrill out of showing you what it can do. I hope you all went away with some new knowledge and plenty of inspiration to get crafting with "your" cricut.

I AM ALSO REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW "GYPSY"

This will take using your Cricut to a new level.
I love the fact that using the Design Studio allows you to do even more with the designs on the cartridges and having a portable version of this is brilliant.
The versatility the Design Studio and Gypsy give you is great and I hope you understand it more after yesterday.

I hope you enjoyed yourself yesterday and look forward to seeing you all soon
xx

CRICUT DEMO DAY ON SATURDAY

Well ..... I think i'm all ready for Saturday! - I have been busy playing with my cricut for the last few days to get all my preparations ready and have had lots of fun and can't wait to share ideas and inspiration with you.  I have been experimenting with making my own embossing folders and stamps and have been cutting shrink plastic, chipboard and acetate and hope you will enjoy what i've got to show you.  Check back a few days after the demo and hopefully I will have uploaded all my cards so you can have a look at them at your leisure.  Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday xx

A CHALLENGE TO MYSELF!!

Today I decided to give myself a challenge!! I’ve been playing with my Cricut machine because my demo is coming up in two weeks and then a few days ago I bought the new Do Crafts Goody Bag. To be honest I don’t normally buy the goody bag preferring to pick and choose from the new promotion but when I saw this one I couldn’t resist. Papermania have introduced their Capsule Collection in a variety of colours and the range includes a paper pad, mosaic gems, bows, ribbons, embellishment kit, buttons and paper flowers – and this time the Goody Bag contains the whole range of one colour which is exclusive to the bag, plus some “handmade by” peel offs and an exclusive stamp! So.... to my challenge – I decided to make some cards using only what is in the goody bag and my Cricut machine (plus some basic essentials) I had great fun – using different cartridges, combining them with the design studio and, well, they are pictured below, let me know what you think. ..... Back to planning for the demo xx

NEW IDEAS FOR THE NEW YEAR!!

Hello Everyone!! I Hope you all had a great time over Christmas and the New Year and are all looking forward to a new crafting year. As promised I have been working on something for a while and hope you will enjoy taking part and having some fun. Some of you who are “bloggers” will probably have seen “sketches” and that’s what we are going to be doing here. Every month I will upload a different sketch challenge and hopefully it will give you some inspiration. Our design team at In2Crafting have had a sneak peak at the first one and they have all made a card – see below – so you can get an idea what to do. Basically you follow the sketch with whatever your interpretation is – you can rotate it and re-size elements of it but you have to keep to the basic design. I hope you have as much fun as we have and it will give you a kick start to your new year cardmaking. I hope to upload a new sketch around about the middle of each month. Have fun and if you can pop into the shop and show me what you’ve done I’d love to see it. Happy Crafting!!!! xx
